It's not about that, you dumb fuck.

If you took a second to realize that what she's doing (light skin vs dark skin), you'd know it's just as vitriolic as anything else.

Willie Lynch indoctrination is some sad shit.

This is a prime example of pulling an argument out of a straw hat.

I am not a colorist, I think it is hilarious because only you get into your feelings about it; however, what I find quite funny is that, you find my trolling on twitter hilarious, but on the IC it is a no no. :(

Plus, you do not say anything to any white woman on this site, when they speak about only dating black men and how much they dislike white men; which by your silence, you encourage the fetishism of your darkskin color -- you see how I spun your logic against you?

I beg of you, do not embarrass yourself again by calling me a sinful name like a "colorist" because every post that you make will be broken down to the point that you will never try to post anything "intellectual" again.

try me.

Today, I got time Cuz.

Argument out of a straw hat? I think not. I'm not the one who spreads light skin vs dark skin ideology. You do. FACT. Joking or not. I'm not calling you a colorist out of thin air. You do that shit and wear it with a badge of honor. You trollin folks on Twitter is completely different.

I don't say anything white women on this site exclusively dating black men? U mean @kat and @mssouthern? What am I suppose to say? "YOU GUYS, don't date black men!" If they choose to date outside of their race, that's on them. They grown. I'm not encouraging "fetishism of black men" by not saying anything. Im not acting as an impediment to the pursuit of happiness...if that's what makes them happy.

So back to you, my friend. If you want to break down each "intellectual" post i make, cool. Let's start by you acknowledging what I'm saying about the light skinned vs dark skinned agenda that you openly promote. Don't divert.

It's one thing to have a preference, but to parade like you don't do this whole "light skins only" act is foolish.

Outside of what Charlie post tell me that you are aware of @Kat accidental racism. Cause imo thats a big concern too.

@MsSouthern is very respectfull. She knows how to navigate among us.

Kathryn keeps on sliping with her keyboard. Until she recognizes it she wont change.

so what does Ms Southern knows and Kat doesn't ? What is the difference between the two seemingly similar poster

Race in America is a psychological, physical and social location for determining the conditions of one’s current and future life. This is because America’s benefits and privileges have been structured around race and its markers for difference. Those markers, largely physical, identify some people as being privileged and others as being victims. As a central concept in America’s history, race has always been an arena for selecting who will eat and who will not eat or for determining the quality and condition of a group’s possibilities.

This is based on Stuart Hall's theory on 'racial orientation' and the complexities of race.

“It must be remembered that in those great days I was considered to be an "integrationist" - this was never, quite, my own idea of myself - and Malcolm was considered to be a "racist in reverse." This formulation, in terms of power - and power is the arena in which racism is acted out - means absolutely nothing: it may even be described as a cowardly formulation. The powerless, by definition, can never be "racists," for they can never make the world pay for what they feel or fear except by the suicidal endeavor which makes them fanatics or revolutionaries, or both.”

― James Baldwin, No Name in the Street

This is why black people cannot be racist because we as a people do not have a hold on systematic oppression, where they are able to hold down a group off people based on their skin color, have laws written where a group of people are grossly incarcerated, modern day lynchings are by the bullet and no longer by the rope, where black children are sent to poor schools based on their zip code and not on their academic talents, voter rights act, the dismantling of progressive of black groups for the betterment of black people, the stigma of the welfare queen when black women are the highest recipients of advance degrees, the silence of the black LGBT and the uplifting of white LGBT and their use of blackness, and et cetera. @scorpio4lfe

Can Africans be racist in Africa?

If a Hispanic has a No Black's allowed sign up in their establishment are they being bigot's or racists? They fall under the premise of context provided?

@cain How can Africans in multiple countries in Africa be racist, when their whole continent have been colonized by Asians (Yes, Russians are Asians) and Europeans?

With Latinos/Hispanics the concept of race is trans-sectional, cultural complex issues because most do not see race in their eyes. They see race as an American issue versus an Latino/Hispanic issue because everyone is "Mexican" or "Colombian". Yet, race is a huge issue because they have hierarchy based on skin color, which was displayed everywhere with the Las Casta paintings, which is a Spanish racial classification that was used in many Latin American, South American and Central American countries.

Charlie there is racism between blacks in Africa. Ive lived there. There are still famillies who own some kind of slaves.

If you go for example by the name of Cisse chances you were a slave forging gold for kings.

In Senegal you have the GEWEL cast, those who have to sing the feat of the higg ranked famillies. Even if they are millionaire they will never be allowed to marry a Ndiaye or talk loud in front of them.

Serious question for @Charlie_

I don't mean to interject your cat fight....no pun intended lol but can you explain to me how blacks can not be racist? Surely it would depend on how to define racism but if you define racism as Merriam Webster defines it “the belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race,” then couldn't blacks be racist? Or if you define is as “prejudice and discrimination rooted in race-based loathing,” then again couldn't blacks be racist? Or even the simplistic definition as defined by Google "a person who believes that a particular race is superior to another". I'm just curious as to how you define racism and why can't blacks be racist?

I've never heard this argument.

Maybe it should be a thread.

There is racism in every race for multiple reasons.

IGNORANCE AND FEAR are the first reasons. Cause naturally in front of somebody who doesnt look , speak, and behave like you, you will feel suspicious and stand on your defensive. But the longer you interact with somebody different the more you accept each other PROVIDED there is no inteference such as VIOLENCE and DECEPTION.

That natural racism has evolved into an economic and cultural one : race superiority. Since caucasians and arabs have enslaved us for centuries and also colonialyzed us, some of their people will do their best to maintain that state of domination WHATEVER THE FORM.

They might not despise you but they feel like racial domination is an heritage they should transmit to the next generations.

But their is a glitch into that systematic racism :

- race mixing

- demography

- human conscience evolution (ex : voting for OBAMA)

- economics laws

- wars unfortunately

Imo racism will never disapear easily. Its will evolve as we do as humanity as long as we educate men and women to dominate. As long as we still seek power instead of sharing.

Go to Africa you will experience black on black racism. Come to Europe you will experience white on white racism. Western eurpeans feel superior as hispanic europeans and eastern ones.

Sorry for the english

I never did find that thread to comment but I did have the conversation with a few friends and they did agree that any race can be racist. That doesn't exclude blacks. Either way, difference of opinion but not everyone will agree with everything.

what harm has black racism done and why would it matter?

It was a simple question...can blacks be racist? The why's, what's, and how's isn't the discussion matter. I believe racism is simply the belief that a particular race is superior to another.

that is the root of it. Racism is a system of oppression based off the belief that one group of people is superior over another.

. I believe racism is simply the belief that a particular race is superior to another.

I believe racism has more to do with hatred, discrimination and subjugation more so than an ignorant superiority complex

most societies and countries think theirs is more superior compared to another...wich can lead to hatred

the problem with the "what is racism?" debate is that ppl fail to realize that simply not liking ppl based on race is trivial and not worth serious discussion.

influencing the 'life chances' of a group of ppl based on race is important.

so when one says 'black ppl can't be racist', it is obvious that 'racist' is being used in the sociological context.

Think about it like this....

When you playing Mario kart, they don't give blue shells and lightning bolts to the motherfucker in first place...

Racist are trying to keep others back and them selves ahead.... It's the characteristic of the oppressor...

Black people can be prejudice, but we're not in the position currently to keep down another race while trying to advance our own....

If we ever take over this bitch, and then prevent white folk from ever advancing to an even playing field.... Then we'd be racist, but right now we still trying to even the odds our damn selves
