Had a decent workout at the gym last night.

I've come to the conclusion that I need to work out at least 4 times a week if I'm going to see any significant results.

So, starting this week........I'm gonna be in the gym Mon, Wed, Fri, and Saturday.

The key to my success, however, is going to be how much.......or rather, how little........I eat after working out.

I weighed 292.5 this morning, so hopefully I'll be at least 285 by next Monday.

Goal is to get under 220, but that probably won't happen until sometime next year.

Stay tuned.

You need to hit cardio hard.. and be married to 4 times a week and you will get there much more faster than you think... but dont fuck up what you do in the gym at the kitchen..

my mother in law used to go to the gym, she paid for a trainer but before she went in she would have 3 drumstick ice creams, then hit the gym, then afterwards get more junk snacks..

why? why waste your time, money and physical energy if you're not going to commit? I applaud the attempts but come on, I don't believe people can be that weak, it's pure laziness.

Deadeye, u cld kill this shit but don't really want to

Weight loss = 70% Diet, 20% Physical Activity, 10% Genetics. Maybe less than 10% genetics.

Just to burn off a small bag of doritos you would need to walk on a treadmill for well over an hour.

However, i do have a old co worker who is a PA-C and does a lot of triathlons and he says it is common for the athletes to bring Soda and potato chips with them on their race. Mainly just because it is empty calories and carbs for energy, but i couldnt imagine riding a bike and drinking a pepsi lmao. Shit would be miserable.

I agree that it comes down to 3 things, but I'm going to replace genetics with metabolism.

There're people who are prone to gaining weight..........and there're also people who couldn't gain weight even if they tried.

So, the way I see it...........the amount of diet and exercise needed to lose weight is going to fluctuate based on your metabolism.

The percentages can be a little misleading when taking metabolism into account because it implies that the 10% for metabolism isn't a major factor in losing weight.

However, that 10% is actually the most important factor because it determines how much exercise and diet will be needed to get the necessary results.

Deadeye...just embrace the fat nigga life brah

Nah.

I mean I've always been a big dude.

Usually up and down between 200-255...........but this is the first time in my life I've ever been this close to 300.

In the past I managed to keep it under control for the most part.

Whenever I'd get up to 235 or 240 I'd just hit the gym hard........and then be under 220 in a month or 2.

Sometimes it'd be 250........but never more than 255.

At some point a few years back, the weight just wasn't coming off like it used to..........and I eventually ended up where I'm at now.
