Yup. Got a new whip last year and them niggas be trying to hide all sorts of shit in the fine print. Adding all sorts of packages and shit that you don't need and offering the 'special financing' But you kinda got to expect them to do that. OG tried to me for about $5500 MORE than what I should have been paying. I let him talk though, just to see what kinda games he was gon' play. Then I hit him with this:

SALESMAN: Yeah, so after the maintenance package (brand new whip with 100,000 mile warranty doesn't need a fucking maintenance package) and the special financing through XXX Credit Union, you'll end up paying just over 28k. And that's with no down payment. Trust me - NO ONE walks out of here with a brand new car with no down payment.

MRYOUNGGUN: So how much after the MSRP, tax, incentives, tax, tag and title? Just if I were to pay cash.

SALESMAN: *calculates* About 22.5K

MRYOUNGGUN: I'll take it. *pulls out blank check* No need for financing or the maintenance package.

never heard of the maximum "car credit" before tho

when I bought my last two whips, each of them were 30K+

I went on ahead and just paid one off........................

I might go ahead and pay off the other one later this year depending on how the economy is looking later on

he means maximum credit line you've have/had

basically if you havent shown fiscal responsibility with 10k why would someone give you 40k worth of credit.

if you buy a home, you don't really come across this issue cause I guess they figure if you can afford ya house

then you can def afford to buy a car

well the thing is with mortgages is they are designed for the lender to make long term money on you.. its an asset that doesnt nearly have the depreciation of the typical car.. shits crazy
