a couple things to highlight before some of these cats drag you into the "bitter nigga" zone where

needlessly carry a grudge for all women to save face

it's very important to keep in mind

1.)you said she works where you get your vehicle serviced

in other words she work is in customer service(?)

2.) if this is indeed the case, it's her part of her job to be polite and conversationally engage the customer

3.) what has she said, outside of the usual "white noise" talk, that gave you the ideal she would be interesting in going on a date.....even for coffee?

ex. Has she inquire about your personal life or relationship status?

No as far as I know she has made no enqiries about me.

TBH I was half askin out of interest but also to broaden my social circle as new to my area for 2years and ooking at expanding that from just work friends. Maybe had I said that she may have seemed a little more calm or settled with her reaction instead of al the nerves and shock going off.
