I don't get mad at player's fans these days especially when it comes to the NBA. Most niggas can't name the center on their favorite "team" but memorizes Kobe or Lebron's stats. But Basktetball has less players in play at a time than say, football so the possibility of one player taking over a game the way Durant does is higher which garners more attention. That and team building in the NBA seems so difficult. Some franchises seem like they'll never be relevant. I twitter searched Milwakuee Bucks fans and saw maybe 3 people.

Football aint really acceptable for player's fans though.

this question came about because of 2 of my homies. one is a lebron fan that now claims the heat but previously claimed cleveland, the other is a bulls and clippers fan because of rose and cp3, and me, im a player fan, ion claim a team, but i have a player im a fan of on damn near every team, im an nba fan..

now they say its pretty much the same, and im just in denial that im a band wagon or team hopper, which really ion mind, cuz as someone said earlier, in the grand scheme its not that big a deal, but i call them team hoppers, cuz thats exactly what they did, they say if their favorite player joins a team, thats their team, but i was tryna explain, niggas who BEEN claimin that team, thats that shit that they dont like lol, they kept sayin its a team game u gotta cheer for the team if u want the player to do well, but imo its a difference in me hopin rudy gay, melo, and durant to do well for their teams for a win or maybe even in a loss but not claiming any team, and being a guy sayin Go Warriors one month, GO Bucks the next cuz of Monta.

I've always been a fan of players, and I never gave a fuck about management. It just doesn't make sense to me to blindly give my loyalty to an organization just because. Not my style.

As long as he only roots for the player and doesnt claim hes been a fan since......(who ever played there) then that's fine.

I'm a die hard laker fan but Vince carter is one of my favorite players I root for him ONLY to have a good game. I can give a shit if his team wins or lose or how his teammates perform. As long as he had a good game.
