Evolution is usually triggered by something. There's no need for plants evolve into not needing water, on land or in the sea simply because water is always around.

I provided a example of humans continuing to evolve today. You can also research what we looked like a few thousand years ago. There are acurate analysis of what humans looked like. Its all based on dna found on the bones of the fossils. Now compare what they looked like to what we look like now. Then compare that to what we are expected to look like 50 years from now. All this info is out there.

Now use your imagination and try to picture what we would look like in 500 years. Plus our continued growth. That picture you will have in your mind compared to what we looked like a few thousand years ago will look like complete different species. We already look like a different species.

Which one are you arguing? Science makes a claim and sets out to disprove or maintain that claim. Many explorers were hesitant to explore cos they believed they'd "fall off" due to a belief on Biblical interpretation of the earth. No book has held man from progress than the Bible.
