As a native NYer, as someone who knew ppl who worked in those buildings, died in those buildings, had childhood friends who lost parents, siblings, aunts. uncles, etc. in those buildings, & know firemen & policemen who now have failing health for simply doing the job that they were called to do, I care...but thats just me.

I'm not trying to make people care...I'm just saying the same rationale some of them are using, "It didn't directly affect me", which is bullshit btw and a sign of how much they pay attention to the country they live in, you can use that same logic to not care about nearly anything happens...it's not about being a patriot or even caring about America in general...it's more about the individual lives that have been lost as a result of Sept, 11 whether they're American or otherwise...shit is fucked up...that's the sad part...
