I'm a cold dude & I felt bad that morning.

I still believe they aren't telling the whole story about the terrorist attacks. They allowed that shit to happen at minimum.

I used to care about 9/11 until i did research. Assuming that those events weren't conspiracy theories, the entire event could have been avoided and security measures could have been put in place YEARS before 9/11 and the subsequent wars.

9/11 was a classic example of "Fool me once... Fool me twice...". It's not the fault of the people who died but it could have been avoided had the Gov't gave a damn.

Yeah, and had FDR not been naive, we would have seen Pearl Harbor coming as well. Doesn't make it any less significant.

I was 13 when it happened. I gave a fuck then and I give a fuck now. Then again, I felt the explosion from the plane on the pentagon lawn, and I saw the smoke from my school. Bunch of my friends started crying b/c they didn't know if their parents were alive cuz a bunch of them worked at the Pentagon.

That was about the time when I realized race wasn't that fuckin' significant. Cuz they niggas killed blacks, whites, A-rab, Asian. In the eyes of the world, American is American. Whether you love here or hate it here, whether you on some "fuck crakkkaz" shit or not. They don't give a fuck. So let you and Lupe go to fuckin' Afghanistan and try to say that "I'm on your side" bullshit to some insurgents and see what happened.

I understand the argument against the War on Terror, but this ain't a philosophy class, it's the real world.

I keep catchin flack for the fact that when it was happening I didnt really care, and 10 years later that apathy hasn't changed.

It was 3000 miles away from me and it was happening to people I didnt know and didnt particularly care for. Plus it irked me how many fake "patriots" sprung up from the first year after it happened. As I got older, I still didnt give a fuck because of all the horrible shit that sprung from it because Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfield were able to use that as an excuse to start a war with a country that had nothing to do with the people who commited 9/11 in the 1st place. Not to mention other terrible shit like the Patriot Act that came from it, that never would've happened had 9/11 not taken place.

Am I the only one that doesn't care about that shit?

If you don't care, hey that's you. But regardless of why it happened or what came from it, it always sucks when groups of people die for no reason.

I've got a theory, yo. A lot of people don't REALLY care about shit unless it affects them or someone they know. I mean, they care, but not really. I realized that when the Haiti earthquake happened. Niggas out here in Cali cared, but no really. It was like, 'Oh, that's fucked up. What's for dinner tho?'. Niggas on the east coast cared WAY more because anybody from the south or east coast knows at least one Haitian person who likely still has family there. Same with Hurricane Katrina, the DC sniper and 9/11.

Sounds crazy, but the shit is true.

Exactly. Your heart goes out, but since there really isn't much of a personal connection it's hard for most people to really feel a certain way about what happened. Just like the LA riots back in the early 90's. If you didn't live in LA at the time, it seemed awful but you still went on with your everyday life. Those who actually lived in LA during that time would cal lit hell on earth.

You don't have to give a fuck, but millions of other americans who were affected by seeing fellow americans, friends, family, loved ones burn to death, jump to their deaths, die from the initial explosion or inside the plane, they'll never forget that day. None of my friends or family died and I was in PA in high school at the time but that day changed alot of things for me, I thought we were the greatest country and inpenetrable to attacks like that. Whether it was a shadow cabal in charge of the attack or the Al Queda, 3000 Americans died.

I've NEVER understood this my nigga.

You really want me to believe that in the age of wikileaks, the internet, and the 24 hour news cycle the government could orchestrate some shit on that fuckin' magnitutde with that many moving pieces and have NO ONE find out?

C'mon slime.

And don't cite some shit from 20 30 shit even 15 years ago. B/c we live in a completely different time.

Damn, who is that chick in your avatar picture?

Are you really that dumb to believe we know everything the government is doing and planning, large scale or not? The internet, wikileaks and shit don't give no true knowledge on government plans. SO yeah, they could easily do that, not to mention it happened 10 years ago. And there's some "evidence" that points to an inside job. The buildings fell just like it was a demolition, there were bombs spotted on the buildings, the FBI went in some store somewhere and confiscated footage BEFORE the attack, the buildings collapsed fro bottom up, despite the fact that the plane hit it on top, so it should fall from the top, etc.

Pearl Harbor isn't that significant, it's quite obvious that FDR let it happen so we could join the war, and it worked and boosted our economy.

That's not that truthful. Over seas, blacks are not seen as Americans but as Blacks. One time an arab group held american hostages for negotiating and let the black people go, if a bunch of blacks and whites is standing in a group and someone says kill all the americans, the whites are only going to die. SO race matters alot. And btw if someone black like Lupe went to insurgents and said I'm on their side, they'd either just reject your, help, take your money, or take both your help and money.

Only the whites die? So when Bin Laden attacked that embassy in Africa only whites died? He sent somebody in to get all the black folks out first?

I mean I understand you dont have a connection to any one that was there, but you should care if not only for the fact that now they crashing planes into buildings what could be next, and where.
