Diddy's not desperate because his clout is too high for that. His funding apparatus has money to spend and if Dirty Money is not a success he still has the management arm of Bad Boy Ent., which consists of Rozay & Nicki (two app. Gold selling artists.) When Puff first came on the scene to do interviews in 1994, he stated that his company was not just about recording and production but management and directing as well. He has held true to that. He's still in the game.

Also, Jannelle Monae was critically acclaimed this year. Bad Boy is still on the scene. Been here since 1993. You have to take all of that into account when you assess power.

Great post. Sean has a strong presence in Manhattan's theater district and Los Angeles' Hollywood District.

Combs has been a top Mogul since 1995. He outlasted Master P and Russel Simmon's reigns in Music, has stood toe to toe with Mr. Carter since the early 00's and Curtis since 2004.

Keep in mind that Combs is just as feared as Curtis as well. Both have made and broke careers.
