I never understood how working for a record label is suppose to be some family and friends type shit. If I get arrested tomorrow, my job has my replacement by Monday. This shit is business. Why expect a record label bailing you out of your personal problems when you won't let them have any power in your personal life decisions.
A record label ain't your parents, not your friends, not your family, just your employer. I think rappers get the dynamics of that relationship fucked up too often.

Would have been a good network opp to perform in front of 50.

It's not like Sha Money is broke and even tho yes he has a dozen other artists you can say that arguably, Sha was closer to this kid and trying to mentor him. I know it's not his responsibility to have but the kid is only 17 and it wouldn't have hurt Sha financially to have done so.
That conduct is kinda fucked up.

Those are the boutique labels, where you got that brother that’s there that feels compassion and could do things that’s not as corporate. It’s not like a social worker. [Epic is] not here to worry about what happens in your private life. Those are the choices you make in your private life,” Sha explained.
of all the explanations and excuses he could have come up with for not bailing that dude out... that has to be the wackest one possible. dude sounds like a straight up douchebag for even vocalizing that line of reasoning given the circumstances. whatever happened to "no comment"?

If he put that 2mil up was he gonna get it back ? Real question. If i was in dude position and my new artist got locked up for the same charges he's the fuck outta there especially if I'm not getting that 2 mil back foh
