When the song came out the whole story was posted about how he did this song, and did not put it on the album due to him not finding production for it so he spit the verses on the radio bro...Jay is not going to rap at a station, and then put it on the album (if the song is not already recorded). He did not create verses to go to the rap station. Jay has never been like that bro. Here is a link of Green Lantern saying the acapella he had was from 2006 while JAY-Z recording "Kingdom Come" they never got a beat for it.He even states he heard a Timbaland version, and a possible Just Blaze one. Stop it bro. This is common knowledge. You do not know when songs get recorded NO ONE DOES unless they are there. SMH.

Here is the back story in case you do not feel like clicking the link bro
Between his his strangely overshadowed verse on "Monster" and the "Power (Remix)" we've been hearing a lot of new Jay-Z recently, or in the case of the new mixtape joint "Most Kings", new old Jay-Z.
Done in partnership with Chris Martin - the Coldplay frontman Jay would also team up with for "Beach Chair", prompting Kanye to throw a "I thought of working with Coldplay first" tantrum - "Most Kings" was originally recorded during the "Kingdom Come" sessions, but never found a beat and instead spent the last few years floating around before most recently landing on DJ Green Lantern's "Invasion Radio 2K10" mixtape. I'll let Lantern explain further:
“This is my version working with the acapella…I’ve had this since 2006 and it was supposed to be on the "Presidential Invasion" mixtape – that never came out. Then Hov rapped these lyrics over his HP commercial drums, and the acapella went to a few different producers in search of a beat for it. I heard a Timbaland version and I think Just Blaze and a few others had it too. But by the time they made "Beach Chair", I think Jay was over trying to find a beat for "Most Kingz". Then he went to Flex show and the rest is history…”
