Even his style of Rapping is like that he doesn't Write Lyrics he Freestyles and his Flow is what he likes to show in his Music

"it's like spitting to god, get it in your face fucking with niggas over your head"

"to make a nigga die bleeding is nothing, you make a motherfucker die breathing you saying something"

On paper his Lyrics look really average and below average but his Flow shines that is what he is dope at Flowing

I know it's tough, but try to pick your 5 favorite Hov tracks with one honorable mention.

Song can have features, as long as its his song. (ex. Money, Cash, Hoes w/ DMX)

What More Can I Say?

Dynasty Intro

Dead Presidents 1

Threat

U Don't Know

Honorable Mention: My 1st Song

...man i still don't feel satisfied with my list lol

Jay's better on features than solo Songs

That's another reason i don't like his Music aside from his Subject Matter and finding him boring i never been a fan of Freestyle type of Rappers that are all Flow

I am into the Substance type of Rappers who are actual Artists that actually have a strong pen game and Song Writting that create Songs that are powerfull with Substance

Threat............................One of his best to me

This Life forever.............I guess I'm the only one that really like the street shit he use to do. I'm surprised nobody named this

Squeeze 1st ...................again I'm more of a fan of that street nigga shit than that dumb shit he raps about now

Watch me ........................even tho its the 4th one I mentioned its my absolute favorite by him. What he was spitting to that Dre or Irv Gotti made beat(whoever made it) was crazy

Dopeman........................making your albums a drug metaphor is a genius idea. Much like Nas turning a gun into a person and Common making hip hop into a girl

Honerable mentions: You don't know from the Blueprint1 and excuse me miss La-La-La from the bad boys soundtrack and finally Amillion and one questions Preemo remix because you ain't a good rapper unless you body a signiture Preemo track

Why can't Jay get outta that dumb techno euro phase he be on now and get back to this type shit?! Smh

Two slept on Jay songs that I like:

My theme song... All Around the World

When Just Blaze drops that sped-up sample and then M.O.P. comes in...ahh, shit!

Five? Damn man. WTF.

In NO ORDER

What More Can I Say (Senior year high school. Ditching class with the homie Eric. Going to the movies. Going home bumping Black Album.Driving down Avalon blasting this song. Brings back memories. Me fucking with the valedictorian. Took easy classes, and got great grades. great year. My favorite in high school. That whole album represents a great point in my life)

The Dynasty Intro (I sleept on this until my senior year. there was a point in my life where I stopped listening to Jay-Z.This came out my freshman year which I would say was another great year I had.Listening to this song now. Great record)

Where I'm From (I was real young when Jay popped onto the scene. I slightly remember this. I do remember "The City Is Mine" video. Coming from someone who thinks vol 1 is better than Blueprint this song stands out. I spent a lot of my life in my adulthood listening to VOL 1. I sometimes start the album listening to this one)

Can I Live (What more can I say? During my senior year is when I really got back into Jay's music, and outside of the Black Album,The College Dropout I was listening to a lot of Illmatic, and Reasonable Doubt. This is the actual song that made me like that album, and later love it. I listened to the album twice front to back, and on the third listen of this I was like wtf)

A Million and One Questions/Rhyme No More (Like I said before Vol 1 is his second best album to me, and this intro has just always been super dope)

I could name like fifty other songs. This was real difficult. More so than any rapper outside of Nas, and maybe Eminem.

You know he was spitting a verse he had on a Coldplay record, and on a record that never got released officially right? He was not freestyling at all. I think the song leaked some time last year. In fact here is the record he recorded long before he rapped over Grammy Family
