EDISON, N.J. – Four New Jersey police officers have pleaded guilty to scheming to retaliate against an officer from another department because he arrested one of their relatives for drunken driving.

Edison officers Michael Dotro, Victor Aravena, William Gesell and Brian Favretto face criminal probation after pleading guilty Friday as jury selection was underway in their trial. They had to forfeit their jobs and promptly resigned. [b[/b]

Prosecutors say the four improperly accessed information about a North Brunswick officer in 2012 and spied on him. But prosecutors say no retaliation occurred.

Dotro faces charges in two separates cases, including one in which prosecutors say he set fire to the home of an Edison police captain while he and his relatives were asleep inside. [\quote]

They won't be allowed to hold public jobs in the state.

The bold is where shit gets fucked up. These cops can just go to another state anywhere in america and get another job as a police officer. That shit is crazy.

So, let's just dismiss all of the civilians these great and upstanding officers have screwed over. I don't believe for one second that a cop that will go as far as retaliating against another cop isn't out on the streets committing crimes against civilians. FOH

That's what I'm wondering. One of the cops also got a charge for setting fire to his boss home...how can you not go back over that dudes cases to see he's most likely done fucked up things that led to someone being convicted

That would only expose the truth and I am sure we would find all types of shit. Not just from the 3-4 that were stupid enough to retaliate against one their own but the larger majority of these crooked no good gang bangers that are out terrorizing civilians.
