Nobody cares about the MVP in basketball they care about winning the chip. Credit and rewards and respect are mostly subjective in hip hop. There aren't games 4:44 plays in a playoff against an Em album or Damn.

Jay already is platinum and given the sales will probally be double plat and is getting credit for that. His peers and even fans like me who say fuck tidal are buying the album in physical form and praising jay for his great album. His tour this winter will be the most in demand hip hop tour of 2017. So in no way is 4:44 going to not get the credit it deserves via the fan and peer appreciation for this project.
