1. Erykah - bold and beautiful black sista, who can sing, write, rap and concert like no other. You can tell she's a perfectionsit from the quality of her albums. IMO New Amerykah pt.1 is her greatest and at the same time the most difficult work.

Lauryn Hill - She just where do I begin??? lol. Most of her music just spoke to me. Zion means the most because I was in a similar situation 2 years after I heard that song and I know I made the right decision. I saw Lauryn Hill in 99 and that was the best concert I've ever been to.

Ms Badu - loved Baduizm and she kinda lost me for a min after that. still had some singles I liked and most of the songs she featured in were good so I still check for her music.

Jill Scott - she's talented and all but I'm just not a fan of her music.
