Fact is, workers for the State of Georgia put that shit there and not in a Safe place where thousands of people don't ride over and walk by every day

The department of transportation (DOT) and their core of engineers seems to be more to blame here than a few homeless drug addicts.

I suspect DOT is trying to avoid lawsuits and so forth by simply passing the blame.

When was this section of road last inspected? I think the bridge collapsed due to crumbling infrastructure (Minneapolis Bridge collapse).

For those of you in the A....has the bridge collapse affected your commute time, running errands, etc.....My wife is telling me that some of her coworkers took an 1 hour and 30 mins to get from the northside to the Camp Creek area

My girl works around Decatur & Tucker. It's added an extra 45 mins to her commute. I work on the southside in Hapeville. Hasn't messed with my commute at all.
