You are once again on point my man. He has to get the white people to fuck with his music in order to really push units. When you say he has college white fans are you talking about the cats who are hip hop heads or the ones who just rock with anything Popular. If its Hip Hop heads that isn't gonna help him a whole lot in my humble opinion. I mean Kweli, Mos Def and cats like that have mostly a white fan base but they don't attract those people who aren't hardcore Hip Hop fans. He needs to get the folks who can only name the most popular emcees or rappers in order to go at least gold. I mean where I am located now is mostly white folks and they have no idea who any Hip Hop artist is who isn't Pop. If he can get some of those folks to buy his albums along with the core fan base he has a good shot of selling well. I want to see the guy sell well so he can keep making albums and putting out a different perspective with the art form

I agree a lot of people tend to think that if it isn't big where they are at then nobody likes it in the world and vice versa. Seeing that you are in school and I'm guessing a former Marine you would have a pretty solid grasp on the various types of people in the world as opposed to some posters on the sight. Pretty much I am guessing your world view is a whole lot broader than most. I was just curious as to what type of white fans you've seen that are at his shows?

I also agree that he needs to be a little more out there and put out more videos and things like that to get him the added exposure. The Can't get enough vid needs to hurry up and come out because I think that song can help garner a nice buzz for the album

He beat the breaks off Rihanna & taped it (unlike Drake simp ass who been tryna cuff her forever now SMH), he's also been touring internationally too and if u make a thread with J.Cole in the title on the IC it will go platinum in a matter of minutes. If u ask me he's got the internet goin nuts, hes appealing to the female demographic, hes bein promoted properly & groomed well, hes international & hes got the machine behind him.
