I can't name 10 rappers who have released albums. How many singles have Big Sean released without a big name artist that has charted? Looks at Billboard and doesn't see "I DOO DOO IT". Why can't Big Sean stand on his own as a artist?
"i do it" is a street single. ain't j.cole beg trey songz for a hit lol. face it big sean will have more impact on hip hop than j.cole. lol at big sean surpassing his elder j.cole. you would think j.cole would of learned from jigga that this shit is about hit records lol. big sean ain't going nowhere believe that. ffoe

...and lets not forget the fact that Big Sean was signed to G.O.O.D. Music since 2007.

We won't truly know for a long time. But if I had to put my money on it, I'd say that J.Cole will still be relevant 5 years from now and that Big Sean won't. That's just my guess. But nothing against Sean. He just doesn't make my type of music.

How is he losing? regardless of his age, Sean had record deals 1-2 years before J. Cole...

...Now that i think about it, Cole is winning compared to Sean since he got an album dropping this month, and he didn't take 4 years to drop it like Sean. And given the very slim chance that Cole does 'flop', it's safe to say that J. Cole would sell as much, if not more units with his next LP than Big Sean's next album, or Sean's debut.

Cole World 9/27.

lol your wrong. big sean is 23. his fanbase will grow with him. has def jam backing. shit go to his twitter page and look at the crowds at his shows. yall can't judge whose gonna be relevant in 5 years. face it big sean will be here to stay.

u can make the same case for j.cole. if twitter followers is the case, than why didn't wale sell more than big sean? and he has a million followers.

I already said we won't know for a long time, bro. You act like Sean is paying your rent. Relax. That's my opinion, so like I said...WE'LL SEE.

By that logic, Soulja Boy and Lil B should have went gold/platinum.
