The American criminal justice system is a joke. This is why I'm against the death penalty. It's not because I don't believe that sum motherfuckers deserve to die it's that I just don't trust our system to not condemn innocent people.

My mom is a prison chaplain and she deals with a lot of Spanish speaking convicts and she says 90% of them have no fucking idea what they were convicted of. They all took plea deals for 1-2 years because they were scared of the possible 10-12 years if they went to trial.

Sad shit.
