Wonder if this is the first step in reliving GM Doc of that title....

Steps to getting lebron

Go to L.A. to be a Flipper? That's like going to Six Flags to ride the Tea Cups.

Steven A says trade Love for Melo... Do ya'll agree?.. He's basically saying that with Melo the offense doesnt go in the tank when LeBron sits.. Max says he'd rather get George or Jimmy butler because they defend.. And Stephen A is like u not stopping GSW you gotta outscore em.. Valid points on both sides..

Lol this idea is so stupid b. Why the fuck do the Knicks have to care what LeBron needs to beat the Warriors???

Putting Love next to Porzingas isn't horrible but if we're rebuilding WTF are we trading an aging veteran for another aging veteran with even more years left on their contract?!

That's almost as dumb as the "Cavs should just trade Love for Paul George" argument...why the fuck would the Pacers do that?!

this off season is hella important. The most in franchise history. I say let Jrue Holiday walk and remain flexible with the cap, get a short stop PG to sell to future free agents and try to get 50 wins. Next season try to go after John Wall. Or sign and trade Jrue to Minnesota for Rubio.

Collison, Payton, Teague, Livingston, or Jennings. Collison Livingston and Jennings will be a stop gap but you have to get a PG that can hit a outside shot. Cant have the defense collapse and not make them pay. Rubio still cant make them respect his shot. No Reggie "My liver going out" Jackson.

Something in me wants them to go after Korver. Instant Grits and Korver would make a great combo when they need to score. Defense will be horrible.

I don't know how realistic it will be to get Wall here but I'd sign some serviceable guy on a 2 year deal.

I think Elfrid Payton type guy might be more realistic in 2018 and I also think we need a better small forward to but I don't know who we can afford. @silverfoxx

That's not a option.

Move along!!!

I don't know. Too many folks looking at him from this season and the job he did with the wizards but not realizing that you judging him based off the job Randy Whitman did last season and how much of horrible coach Whitman really is.

He's still better than nate

If anything nate is best handling the defense as an assistant

They probably paid him stupid money. Only reason it makes sense for him to go to the warriors. Its a good look for the clippers.

I don't know about a few of these guys but I'm a let you live.

Personally think a Dwane Casey is ass. Scott Brooks is great motivator and good guy but not a great coach. Billy Donovan was a good college coach but just another guy in the league his go to offense is Westbrook iso's. OKC coulda kept Brooks for that.

You got a few questionable others to but I digress.

Just let the record show you thought Gentry would be a great fit here.

At the end of the day we all doing hottakes.

find where i said that

i said i didnt think the hire would be that bad as ya'll were making it

in hindsight...was i wrong? ehhh...i mean, dude never got a full season to play with the roster he envisioned when he took the team over, so already, he was behind the 8ball. When they were "healthy", they appeared to be competent playing some very good ball against + .500 teams. They had a few win streaks here and there with the small ball lineup which could be attributed to coaching wouldnt you agree?

ya'll never gave dude a chance from the jump which i thought was unfair. Even after the Boogie trade, anyone with any realistic expectations knew that ANY chance at the playoffs were a long shot, yet, here people still got pissed they missed out on the playoffs after adding Boogie and they initially struggled to get him acclimated to the team.

i think the problem with most people is that they thought he was gonna be able to come in and do what happened in GS w/o realizing the roster just wasnt built to do that. Now, im with you, if after a few games, they under .500 by a significant margin, then he probably needs to go, but lets cross that bridge when we get there.
