aye, i might have asked this before, but what u know about the boy David Gettis. dude was good as rookie, was open alot but clauson couldn't throw it that far...i thought with cam he'd have a pretty damn good season, but you think he can be a consistent nfl receiver?

Trent Dilfer was one of the few who were singing the praises of Cam Newton...BEFORE the season started

Gettis was pretty serviceable as a WR at Baylor.

Didn't think he would make it to the league tho. Good look for him.

If it went to a RB...Trent, hands down. Seems like a lot of people just looking at basic stats and saying..well shit, that means he did better. I can throw some out that could push the argument a bit.....Richardson leads the nation in yards after contact, only has 40% of the plays the running backs have had on his team as opposed to Ball's 60%. Ball rarely is touched til the 2nd level of the defense. If you watch Alabama games, Trent is getting hit and jammed at the line of scrimmage majority of the time, playing against 8 and 9 in the box. Ball doesn't see that often. Not to mention going against SEC defenses...their is only 1 Big Ten defense that is top 10 against the run (as opposed to 3 from the SEC, one being Alabama)...the next highest ranked...Wisconsin at 30. Don't get me wrong...Ball is a great back but i don't think he should get it over Trent if it goes to a RB. All in all i think Trent should get it anyway, for the competition he's face and the numbers put up against them. RG3, great QB but the defenses he's faced...not so good. When you dwindle it down to 5 of the greatest players this season, gotta start nit picking to get the best out of all of them and i can make reasons for Mathieu not to get it too even though thats my nigga and i'm biased towards defense.
