I see what your point but basically you're lowering the bar for emcees. He's supposed to be a professional rapper, not an amateur so we, the consumers, should judge him on his rapping ability.

There are to many listeners who are quick to take it a step further with this shit, and overall go fuck the culture, atleast the nigga gettin' money. Why are we giving these rappers passes? He shouldn't be given the privilege to entertain in this culture if he doesn't qualify basic criteria IE a simple freestyle.

I think with everybody starting to go independent, hip hop will get better,

independent artists can release good music with out sacrificing their integrity..

instead of the artists trying to make radio hits,
