The Dark Knight series was a really, really, really, really... really good gangster movie trilogy set to a back drop of a shitty Batman interpolation. I like the films, but they miss everything I know and like about Batman. Batman's hand skills was replaced with overdramatic hockey fighting, the villains are whittled down to psychotic mob leaders that would've been easily taken down by a regular task force, and everything else in between has no real purpose but to react to the events surrounding Batman. Again, great movies... but the Batman fan in me was pissed off.

Batman's been around for 70 years and had tons of different characteristics, attributes, etc. there's no way they can make movies that please EVERY batman fan

Well my argument with the series is Batman wasnt really Batman

-Bale didnt showcase Batman being the great martial artist nor great detective

Memento, Insomnia & Interstellar are Nolan's top 3 films IMO in terms of direction and screenplay.. .

The Dark Knight my favourite outta that Batman trilogy
