Regarding Geto Boys: the song "Assassins" on the album "Making Trouble", was, in my opinion, the first "Horrorcore" track EVER made (for better or worse). This was recorded in '87, and released in '88. Just before Insane Poetry, Esham, Gravediggaz, ICP, and Flatlinerz.

That album also had the original "Balls & My Word" which was dope. No Scarface or Willie D though.

Yes, and the new Geto Boys lineup with Willie D, Scarface and Bushwick rapping remixed the song to better results on their self-titled album. The birth of horrorcore was definitely for the better specially when we got awesome shit by Brotha Lynch Hung.

Okay, I was lying on that one. No matter who it is, I always take advantage of my Geto Boys knowledge and spread it regardless of who I am talking to. But really, it just sounds weird to bash Ice Cube for making gangsta rap and then praising Scarface. Look at me, I love both and never hate on one for "promoting hate" and turn around to support a similar rapper.

I'm not praising scarface. I said that scarface during a certain period of time did the whole gangsta rap thing the best. all of the RAL music we have discussed is music i grew up on, not something i'm into now. the fact that i have questions doesn't mean i listen to it or even support it. also i never bashed ice coon, i just gave my opinion on him. he gets the same treatment scarface gets actually. go find my post where i spoke on scarface's dopeman music album where i condemned him for still talking about selling dope in 2010. it's a similar argument i made against ice for still saying he's a gangsta in 2010 when he never was. so yes, scarface doing gangsta rap is greater than others who did it imo. he's form semed more realistic than others. I have also given ice coon his props as a story teller amongst other things. the difference between me and others is i supported both artist everytime they dropped for several albums going back before they went solo. At one point ice was my favorite rapper and later face was one of my favorites. i know both artist careers so i should have the right to speak on them, even if it disagrees with what the guy who can't take people coming in his thread disagreeing with him. lol

So I thank you for clearing up questions i have had for years but don't be so quick to judge me based off of my stalker interrupting this thread with quotes and post taken out of context so he can get whatever E-satisfaction he is looking for. what he posted has nothing to do with this thread or even me.
