It is real, though. Yes, it's exaggerated but those bumps they take are real. Their bodies take more wear, tear and damage than a UFC fighters.

We get invested in the action, feuds and storylines.

That's the basis of any type of show you, or anyone else, watches. We know that zombies aren't real, but people are heavily invested into the Walking Dead like it is real.

Wrestling is no different.

It's been around for hundreds of years, too. Found painted in caves and tombs.

It's one of the oldest forms of entertainment and fighting.

Can't knock others if they enjoy it. If you dislike it, that's cool..

^^^nah, I don't talk to none of my friends about wrestling, I've been watching it since I was 3, me and my grandma always watched it together when I was younger so even if the product is sometimes eh, shits still is important to me in a way

Its funny how people assume we think its "real". I guess they dont understand its just entertainment like any movie, comic book, anime, and so on. The difference is usually our response to those characters garners a "push" in the business and half the time all the way to the top.

Buyrates, merchandise, we sorta understand and know we are directly influencing the product thats being shown to a constrained level.

They still pushing the Cena bullshit despite negative responses, almost to the point of mockery and knowing they can control at least 50% of their fanbase like zombies.

Personally I dont watch RAW everyweek and almost never watch Smackdown for years now, and catch as much TNA every week, but people like what they like.

Who are you to judge? Show me your paycheck, your bitch, and your house, then we can have this grown man talk again.
