I know many of you people don't actually read DC Comics but this is confusing to me cause Lobo was in the "new" nu Stormwatch sporting a look similar to his classic one

I'm guessing this is a younger Lobo like the new 52 has pretty much introduced a younger batman and superman as well. Here are the other two unused designs.

Supposedly this dude is an imposter and the one in the concept art is the REAL Lobo and coming a this guy for stealing his name

I think they should've just introduced a brand new czarnian with the "new Lobo" look instead if that's the case. Then again that would prevent them from marketing this "LOBO VS LOBO" gimmick.

wtf i have Deathstroke 1-12 and he was already in there.

The whole point of the Lobo villains month issue is that the Lobo we've seen in the New 52 so far is not the real deal and the other guy with the glittery tattoos is the real one taking on the impostor to reclaim his identity.

Something just stuck out to me. New character designs are generally streamlined and more dialed down like the new Lobo. Maybe the new Lobo is commentary on the state of superhero comics today and the reboot craze that has taken the industry over in general the same way the original Lobo was a commentary on the xtreme muscle bounded anti-hero's of the 90's.

Somebody that was off the planet when Lobo merked everybody else?

According to this article he's not going to look like that when he debuts next month in Justice League.

Online backlash to DC Comics’ younger and slicker “new look” for Lobo may have been a little premature, as writer Marguerite Bennett assures fans the lewd and violent interstellar bounty hunter “is much bigger, meaner and nastier” than the concept art would lead them to believe.

In fact, she contends the character that appears in September’s Justice League #23.3: Lobo one-shot doesn’t look like the Kenneth Rocafort design unveiled Friday on the DC blog, or the Aaron Kuder cover.

Damage control. If the internets hadn't gotten all fired up they would've still went with the faggot Lobo.

One design he looks namor-ish, another wolverine, and another old cable/kratos.
