Yeah I was wondering the same thing. I would love to hear a American Gangster type Jay less bragging and more introspection but not.like the introspection on WTT. Jay sounded out of place. I gotta say... Life is Good is a great album, not sure if it's a classic for sure but it's one of Nas's better albums.

I think Nas's classics are Illmatic, It Was Written, Stillmatic, and The Lost Tapes. He also has near-classic albums to me like Street's Disciple and God's Son and Life is Good. Nigger actually was a pretty good album to me, sans a few songs and some beats.

Jay, on the other hand, has a lot more underwhelming projects. He's got Reasonable Doubt, The Blueprint(which is a great album, but not a timeless classic IMO), American Gangster, but outside of those albums, I think Jay has a lot of filler in his catalog. BP2, Vol. 3, BP3, Best of Both Worlds, Kingdom Come, and Watch The Throne(not to mention that Linkin Park shit)..... all those albums to ME were a bit underwhelming.

I've always thought Nas had a better catalog than Jay to be honest. Jay should put a lot of work into this next album IMO and show some maturity and personal growth, but thats just me.
