Why is florida the most unified state in hip-hop

Florida hip hop is fucking GARBAGE. And this is coming from a Florida Native. The best rapper we have to offer right now (mainstream) is Rick Ross. And he's not garbage, but that still is embarassing.

I disagree on Florida unity. The only thing promising hiphop coming from there is Jedi Nemesis and that's for real that 7 Layers mixtape is a beastl! the rest of the others from Florida are just so fake and not unified I dont know what to do and its a huge problem in my opinion.

Florida? I think Texas is more unified. Like another poster said Trick Daddy is beefing with Rick Ross and Plies right now. Plus, not all the fans in Florida are riding with Ross right now. In Texas though nobody is beefing and you can pretty much hear any mathematical combination of Texas rappers on a song together.

Not really, Texas is not unified either, so rappers in the south and the United States are not that good either.

Texas used to be good, but since DJ Screw died, it's all been downhill aka Jump the Shark.

i can tell you that this state suffers from serious crab in bucket syndrome

a bunch of mid 30's rapper sked that someone new might take the lil bit of shine they got
a bunch of drug crews washing they money in rap labels. runnin round in big ass black t's wit the names on the front..none of them niggas can rap,but they swear they the best cuz they catch the most bodies in they songs
