If you are in a school/college where people laugh at someone getting an answer wrong you need to transfer to a better school. Niggas cut that shit out in highschool that's little kid shit.
Well you said you MOSTLY get the answers wrong, so that's probably why they are laughing. Is it immature, probably but don't give them the satisfaction. Just study your school books some more and you'll be praised instead of laughed at after awhile.
