I just couldn't believe what you were saying...questioned if you really meant that. A ring is the ultimate goal...so in the mindset of a player I'd think most of them consider it to be mandatory to reach that pinnacle of success. I don't think a ring is mandatory to validate greatness...as that can be observed...and there are obviously players w/o rings who are greater than players with rings.

Yeah I feel you

How is it the easy way out??

Instead of taking the lumps and building a team around u. I think joining 2 other great players is looking for an easier way to get a ring. imagine Jordan Barkley and OLajuwon joining forces in the 80's because they couldnt beat LA, Boston or Detroit

I hate when some players get traded to good teams and play almost no mins and get a ring but it's just how the game of basketball is played some get rings and some don't. Talent isn't all that's needed to get a ring.

This is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. Do the stars go out and draft players? Do they negotiate contracts? Do they interview coaches? Do they scout college/D league/Euro players? NO! So how can they be expected to build a team around them??

And that Jordan statement is the second dumbest thing I have ever heard. Nigga he didnt need Olajuwon or Barkley because he and Pippen (Top 50 NBA all time), Rodman (greatest Rebounder ever), Tony Kukoc (best 6th man in the league for years)and was beating they ass. He didnt have a team that went 8-28, lose by 50+ points in a game and basically become a joke after he left. Neither did Magic, and neither did Bird....so its useless to say what they would or wouldnt do.

Look at Lebron...they done brainwashed the nigga into thinkin a ring is manditory for him when it's not. That's what him in Miami is all about...a damn ring. I mean, it's nice, but it's not needed.

some niggas don't want 2 do the same shit their whole career

what else is lebron gonna play 4?he already won mvp's,rookie of the year, scoring titles and been 2 allstar games

It may to hurt move on, still be down with the nba, and get it thrown in your face all the time. the best who never did it.

i aint gonna say no names, but we all know who.

imma say names. but i gotta respect them for staying real.

barkley could have joined the bulls but we went to the rockets. houston offer more money or did he really think he could beat jordan?
Miller could have went to boston but his love for indiana, the same people who burned down his house because he was black, he didnt come out of retirement.
stockton. he has his reasons.
Malone tried, but he should have followed shaq to miami like payton.
