All the guys you mentioned have character that the fans can get behind but none of them outside of Punk truly has the it factor that WWE is looking for.

WWE doesn't aim to please you indy loving, ROH/PWG dick sucking, fantasy booking, wannabe creative team-member ass niggas.

Their goal is to find the next guy who's face they can slap on every poster, commercial, t-shirt and billboard they can find.

The face of the WWE truly has to have a larger than life personality that fans can relate, and gravitate to.

Again, WWE doesn't aim to please you niggas that swear by indies.

True, he has cemented himself on the upper card for his career at this point.

He'll be the guy they go to for a 20 minute match on Raw, and to steal the show at a PPV, but I still feel he'll never be the guy.

However... John Cena is clearly rubbing off on him right now.

He gets beat down for alot of the match, has the predictable comeback with the same moves in the same sequence, and overcomes the odds yet again.

He can't even lose clean at this point, or it could diminish his entire momentum that he had going pre-injury.

Stop reading after "none of them outside of Punk". The "IT" factor isnt as obvious as a picture or a promo. It takes time and development. No star from what Ive seen minus Brock and maybe Angle were the "IT" guy from the beginning. Stone Cold, HHH, The Rock, and even Cena had bumps in the road b4 they got to where they got to. Even well acclaimed guys like The Undertaker who are legends were never thee guy for a long period of time that carried WWE on its back
