if we throwing out size and its strictly athleticism, Nate Robinson

size included, Lebron easy

Having the best athleticism/can play multiple sports mean the best athlete..Nate Robinson Playing Cb on a D1 level and possibly playing the the NFL=Best Athlete

LeBron is the clear answer here. He played high school football. Is what 6' 8''-6'9'', and one of the fastest in the league with the ball in his hands. Explodes to the rim with crazy force like only Dominique Wilkins could. Dude is a freak. There is no way a human should be that big, strong, and fast. Shit blows my mind.

How is Nate Robinson the best athlete when he isn't an elite player, neither at basketball nor football. I think a lot of guys in the league could of easily excelled at other sports if they wanted.

Give him 20 shots a game and that would change....Like I said Nate is the only I know of that play two sports on a D1 level.

Julius Peppers

I wish niggas ran track in HS more often like they did back in the day.

Since they don't, it's hard to get a good idea on how fast these guys actually are.

Unless they did run and just weren't enough to make it on any of the HS rankings. (I know rose didn't run)

Edit: I view 40 times as a measure of quickness rather than speed.

Edit2: Apparently Nate Robinson holds his state HS record for the 110 hurdles.

Edit 3: There was a debate on this about 3 years ago, and most people are going with Nate as the fastest current NBA player.

Naw, the statement said they knew of no one who played D1 basketball and football. I was saying Peppers played football and basketball at North Carolina.
