I'll be the first to admit I was dead wrong about Cam he struck me initially as a Jamarcus Russell type of nigga who was gonna get his signing bonus and have no work ethic after that.

With that being said Cam Newton will be one of the 10 best QB's of all time he has the arm, pocket presence, ability to scramble, run for big yardage, work ethic, and most importantly intangibles of a leader.

I dont understand how anybody thought this when they are and were two totally different players. Their game isnt the same nor their size. Only thing they have in common is the fact that their both big black niggas

Freeman, i think he has better fundamentals than Newton and when shit breaks down i believe fundamentals will always win. Either way niggas is winning at the QB position right now.

JOSH FREEMAN! Not tryna knock Cam with this, but his star receiver Steve Smith is in his 11th season. How much longer does he have left? And Panthers aren't good at pickin receivers. J Free is growing with Mike Williams and Arrelious Benn. Now Preston Parker is stepping up.

Amazing how qb's have evolved into these two monsters. Its hard to say right now. Cam is raw, but once he gets the offense down I think he will get the td's and not just yards.

I like both and really its still to early to tell, but Cam is showing out right now. I said that dude would be str8, but I had no idea he would play this well this early. If they continue to draft well Cam is going to be a problem in the NFC South and to the rest of the NFL. Especially if he doesn't take a step back in year two and continues to get better.

Its too early to compare the 2. Freeman is in his 3rd season now right? Cam has played 4 games. Gotta give him some time.

did we mention that Freeman got that Clutch gene? Both Cam and Free wil dominate for years but Freeman wil hav the better career. Cam had the hype, plus he has Smith to throw to. Did yall see the situation Freeman wuz in in Tampa during his rookie and sophomore years?

considering one was the #1 pick, id say he came into a worst situation

Josh Freeman is also gifted in those attributes plus he is more clutch. Now Freeman has the potential to be a top 10 QB of all time

Freeman is already on pace to have fewer touchdowns and more int's than he had last year so maybe last year was something we wont see again. and maybe the job Cam has done through these first four games is something he won't be able to repeat for the rest of the season. maybe the team runs the ball more, maybe he throws for less yards from here on out. its all up in the air. the performances by either one of these guys could go in the opposite direction at any point. its almost impossible to predict, but i think its safe to say that Cam Newton is obviously the best quarterback of the two and will be forever
