You gotta respect Luda's craft, he has never been the typical Coke & Gun's rapper promoting filth or fantasy to stay relevant.

Luda has shown consciousness, maturity and growth in his music over the last decade (Runaway Love, Do the right thang, etc..) and managed to carve out a successful movie career in the meantime. His business acumen speaks for itself with the success of Conjure Cognac and his label DTP.

No gay-scandals, public-buffoonery, publicized arrests, or divisive bickering and beefs, just an ambassador of HipHop representing the culture like it should be.
