Who had the bigger impact in pop culture? Dave Chappelle or Seth Macfarlane

Pryor is Walter Payton

Eddie is Emmit Smith

Chappelle is Barry Sanders

Chappelle is talented but he's not the men I've mention above...

When you say impact, Family Guy is on Fox and syndicated on like 3 other channels. Everybody got Fox, even without cable. Chappelle's my dude, and all things being equal woulda probably had a bigger impact, but he was on Comedy Central and just through sheer numbers can't win this argument.

Considering what Chappelle knows, is aware of, and walked away from.... I think his honest impact is slept-on, considering Hollywood

It's Seth....are you people retarded? Your seriously trying to tell me that the creator of FAMILIY GUY is less influential than Dave? This isn't whose funnier...it's about whose had a bigger impact and it's Seth....by a LONG SHOT! It ain't close!

@rage

Explain what you mean by Seth having a bigger impact than Dave by a LONG SHOT!

I guess it comes down to numbers and honestly I don't have the info so guessing is pointless

I do assume that Fox is seen more than Comedy central but, Chapelle is played on other non cable channels in reruns.

I thought the football comparison was ok...

The original

The person that went further but had a good team around him

The person that retired early but had a chance to be better than all of them...

Would have to see examples of there effect because only thing I remember of the Chappelle show was "Rick James bitch!" being big. And I always thought Macfarlane's stuff was influenced by pop culture. Didn't really have people following him. Was just sort've..South Park without the messages they put in some of their episodes.
