He might be an icon but I doubt it and not on the level on MJ no where near close...no rapper would be... Rap is still not looked great upon compared to other music genres. close thread.

Hell no. I love Shady's music, but Mike Jackson was MUCH bigger than music. Started at young age, revolutionized the industry, the charities, etc.

Eminem is not known on all the planets galaxies.. you could goto the middle of the jungle and a motherfucker would have heard human nature.. through the wind.. as usual you are over doing it..The only major impact he had was getting a certain crop of white people into the realm of hiphop ... however largely these people are here largely for him only

I can respect that but i feel people on these blogs don't quite actually realize how huge how loved he is outside the Internet

By the public, media, industry etc?

Obviously what you need to do is get yourself a copy of Catcher in the Rye and a revolver and go out and make history happen for ya boy.

I'm just glad Emenim has such demented and psychotic fans on the Internet so we can blame his music for turning their minds to mush.

Suge On Eminem:

"Everybody know when your dealing with me you gonna get the truth because that's what I'm about. I already saw 8 Miles and yeah I'm proud to say I bought the bootleg because first of all I'm a real ghetto n!gga and second, I don't believe in supporting capitalism by coporate America of our hip-hop culture. I laugh my guts out everytime I see the updated version of Elvis Presley dance around his videos like a clown then the next minute he want to be serious and all violent. Eminem in my eyes is money-making character master-minded by Dre & Jimmy Iovine to make him feel invincible in culture that us blacks worked hard to build. Nobody back in the '80s when this **** first started would have predicted that at one time or another that a '******' or wannabe ***** as I like to call him would be the number rapper. Disrespecting the woman who gave birth to you ain't cool at all. This kid loves to portray himself like a violent guy who's a threat to society but in reality he's getting paid by a culture who is feeding into his gimmick. But it all goes back to Dre because Dre is basically the master of having people believe he's something he's not. There's some rumors going around in the industry regarding Em's secksual preference and I have people working for me to help bring this innuedo to life if it's true. Haha. Look out for Eminem's second bring screen endeavor very soon called "8 Inches" starring him and some Aftermath's finest, hahaha."

I just enjoy the Music i don't care about sales

If you been through the struggle of poverty, relationship troubles, family troubles etc then Em's Music is priceless

If you had a good life happy in a big rich mansion it ain't for you

& the bonus is yeah we know these other Artists speak on struggles too but with Eminem it don't sound boring he makes it sound catchy

The Music is the most important thing Music speaks to the soul

How is it ether so many Rappers talk this gun talk talk about doing this but don't have a criminal record or never done shit

Eminem when he did make a Song like that Soldier was based on a true story of him getting greazy on a club bouncer and knocking him unconscious

Eminem actually had a criminal record before Music for firing shots at a police car in Detroit

You gotta look at the facts Eminem has never been robbed for his chain or his watch or beat up by another Artist

Unlike so many other Rappers who been violated
