Corey Brewer is a decent player man. On that team he could have thrived in a defensive role. Plus he is a hard worker. Jared Jefferies has proven himself to be a sub par player.

They got jeffries because he can defend and has length. He can fit a role , and doesnt need the ball. Thats gonna help in a conf. full of good/great wing players. And Melo wont have to defend the best wing players. Good pick up.

I think in the long run their still messing up their chances of becoming a contender in the east. Jeffries palys avg defense. But to the knicks avg defense is like dwight howard to them. They got better offensively to me through all this but they can't depend on runnin and gunnin and playing mediocre defense to win them any playoff series

brewer is good bench help thats its...KEEPING him and signing jeffries is brilliant. but basically swapping him for jeffries is a wash....
