I used to mess with Wiz, but nowadays that Amber Rose chick with her tennis ball looking head has him gone.

Dude was literally the hottest rapper from late 09 to just about when Rolling Papers dropped. Then it was like a transformation. Completely different rapper now.

bruh never was all that to me so him droppin babbage pop tunes isnt too much of a surprise, it does seem like he kinda lost focus or is tryna too hard to be different these days tho, i would think with juicy as a mentor this shit wouldnt really be happening, but he had dope songs on cabin fever, taylor allerdice, and onifc

Juicy J is signed to the nigga. Not the other way around.

Not only that, but outside of the music, the nigga seems to have a complete 1-dimensional way of thinking. Not the best mentor if you ask me. I know he's an A&R and shit with Taylor Gang but meh..

On topic though, Wiz just seems to have completely embraced the demographic which consumes the bulk of his music, which incidentally is the corny fraternity white kids on college campuses, and high school girls. Not only that, but he is so content with producing mainstream garbage because of the money he's made, (the nigga DID make Forbes recently) the shit isn't so much surprising as it is extremely disappointing. He had potential to do so much more musically. Not just for the region, but the game in general.

actually juicy owns a percentage of taylor gang along with wiz, pat is the one signed to taylor gang, juicy shit still come out thru columbia just like three 6 has for the last 17 years, and has "a&r'd" a bunch of projects more successful than anything wiz has dropped, its well documented. im not bout to argue with u tho.

He seems to be the type of rapper who is business first. He rather put his best effort into his mixtapes; He knows the bread he can make off poppy albums that cater to the young mainstream america. His albums will never reach the levels of his mixtapes. If Taylor Allderdice was Rolling Papers who knows where his career would be now.

We don't have to argue; I haven't seen Juicy on the Forbes' Cash Kings yet so this well documented stuff is moot. At the very least, not recently.

Juicy J. is not a mentor, nor leader material. He is just as money hungry as Wiz, which is my point. He's catering to the demographic which makes him the most money and in turn, the quality of his music has suffered. Both on the tapes and albums. You probably never really fucked with him, but I'm pretty sure we can both agree the nigga is much more garbo then he was when he first dropped.

im not sure what the cash kings has to do with the facts i stated to prove u wrong, and im not sure how dj paul and juicy j werent somewhat successful as leaders of a label of decent/good artists that actually sold a few records for well over a decade, but ur right, we can agree he has gotten worse.

Getting signed to Atlantic Records is what happened to him. As soon as Wiz dropped that fuck ass pop single "Roll Up" back in 2010 and wearing female leggings, I knew that nigga was gone. You can tell he lost a lot of his creative control when he got signed seeing how he started catering his albums/singles to white America and now reserving his dope tracks to mixtapes.

His music lost its originality, and now consists of mainly generic, tired ass lyrics about absolutely nothing. Hollyweird really did a number on this nigga smh...
