but really, if you are gonna create some kind of "player tree" then you gonna have to go back further than the players you name

did you forget to mention Hakeem Olajuwon?

I couldn't think of anyone in the L who's game resembles him. His skillset is unique...I think Durant in the future will have a bunch of offspring, (Austin Daye, Perry Jones type guys)

I am sure so of the older guys have offspring but the thread needs room for posts. I can see that you're the king of posting things to critique threads with very little insight...lol

drop a productive post

Who in the L plays like Dr. J right now bruh? I don't see anyone really

Bruh if you know history you should know how many players Dr J inspired and influenced in the past. Then today's stars modeled their games from players who modeled their game after Dr J.

But if you want a direct connection then i say whoever birthed dudes like Nowitzki,Bargnani, Okur, The Gasol brothers, and all those Euro players who liked to be away from the rim. I wanna say Vlade Divac but it might have been somebody else. Sabonis? I cant remember

Dr. J's athleticism was enviable, but his mediocre ballhandling and jumpshooting weren't he was enviable as marketing tool. His cool demeanor and afro and of course his dunking...otherwise his skillset isn't even getting high marks in that regard....also...you get credit in this thread when you drop names otherwise...

KG brithed ALL THEM dudes that stretch the foor at four....Dirk is an extension of KG which is a new skillset because their shooting 3's (which Bargnani falls under). KG birthed the gasol's...Sabonis birthed no one because his skillset at center is unmatched. Vlade birthed flopping bigs...SMH...

With all that said...KG gets credit for the Gasols...

We'll throw Okur under Sabonis

and Bargnani under dirk

WTF Allen Iverson birthed Combo Guards?????? Da Fuck???

man im outta here, smh ....

NOBODY was checking for combo guard's HEAVY like before AI showed the could carry teams, No one was checking for FREAKish PG like SF's until Lebron even though Pippen and G. Hill did it before him neither of them alpha dogged as LBJ did in Cleveland. Yet another non productive poster...Christ, I thought the reason was bad.
