i would say pg or center usually but the fact that theres like no true centers left and most are jumpshooters now imma say pg

Center.....if u can't protect the paint, Game over....cause realistically, even the best perimeter defenders can't stop the best scorers in the game all the time...most freethrows are a result of penetration in the paint so u need a smart Center who can alter shots n not pick up fouls

nba aint checkin for positions anymore. dudes fill in holes in each of the positions these days.

a team needs a backup scorer. someone who can score when their main guy can't score or get any penetration cause he is locked down getting double-teamed all night. so a team needs someone else aka a backup to step in and put it in the hole, create penetration, etc...cause its extremely hard for guy to do it all himself night in and night out. nh@ this tho

Depends where your strength is, every position is important in the NBA...if I'm building a team and I have a top player somewhere, like PG..I'd think best would be a SF or C...someone who can rebound or get to the bucket...or someone who can catch lobs like my starting big man (since most foul trouble comes at the C position)...Gortat is a great backup, so is Felton...
