i studied these rhymes from childhood. i got this cassette for my b day in 1989 and it included a lyric sheet in the insert. chuck d rhyme scheme is just as comlplicated as canibus/eminem. black steel is crazy as fuck. i felt like i was right there in the inmate riot. dont believe the hype was a intelligent and wordly diss to those parental advisory groups and right wing commentators claming PE as a radical organization. every track is pure genius on this album. discipline made a good pick because this album is often overlooked for them impact it had when it came out in 88. this was the closet thing to black panther rap. if you dont think chuck was lyrical on this album then you dont know what lyricism is.
