Why did you apply violence to being hard or soft???? They don't have to do anything with it. How you deal with life or circumstances which don't always constitute violence determines either characteristics.

MLK and the civil rights stood up without violence same as Ghandi and other people use non-violence, but they never back down especially in the sight of evil. That's what makes a man strong or weak.
