We just got a new station not to long ago called "G 98.7" This station plays a good mix of Afro music, from hip hop, RnB, Soul, Funk, to Jazz. Turned it on and heard James Brown, flow 93.5 don't be playing that.

sounds just like the radio in DC 93.9 and 95.5 will play the same shit at the same time. And we can pick up Baltimore radio station 92.3. so all 3 of them could be playing the same song at the same time.

All radio plays the same thing, it's called Cleat Channel. When I was driving trucks one year, back in 03, every city I hit played the same songs, Get Low, that Pharrel song, Uh Oh by Lumidee, Magic Stick and some other shit. It's a comglamerate, they control the radio every where. Any city you go to it's going to be the songs you hear everywhere.

95.5 out here in the DC area is slowly changing their format to a techno/dubstep sound to compete with Hot 99.5. They just recently starting playing Justin Bieber songs, and Bruno Mars, and the like are in full spin on the station now.

It's sad seeing the death of 95.5, but the process started a few years ago when they started letting go of all the top personalities and DJs and wouldn't renew the top personalities that got the station ratings in certain time slots.

I won't even go into the bullshit that Tigger went through late last year.

But 95.5 and 93.9, along with Baltimore 92Q be playing the same songs all day, every day. 93 will play some Go-Go at night, 95 will play dancehall some nights, and 92 will play that club/percolator shit from the time you driving home through the rest of the night.

Clear Channel has fucked up radio royally throughout the land......
