Totally off topic but myself and some friends were having a conversation about Africa and it's many countries and cultures. I said that Africa would be a more powerful continent if the language barriers and cultures were more streamlined similar to other powerful nations.

All African empires that had a common language, common culture were powerful

Ghana empire, Mali empire, Soghai empire, Asante empire, Zulu empire etc. etc. Divide and conquer is what still keeps Africa on the bottom.
