Fucked around and missed my son's first day of school last week due to 2 car accidents backing up the freeway for mad long. I already live 35 minutes away from his school and it took me an hour to get there. Almost fucking cried. Fucked up my whole day. SMH.

FaceTimed him at bedtime, asked if he had a good day.

ME: How was your first day of school? You have a good day?

HIM: Not that much. (his way of saying 'not really')

ME: WHY?!

HIM: Because you missed it.
