so mack maine can't rap and he can't really do this who public relations/president role for shit. so why is this nigga on salary? (if hes actually getting paid)

Lololololol

Getting paid?

You got jokes...lololol

Birdman gives you a chain and lets you drive his cars and chill in his houses...But once you ask for even five bucks to buy a burger....

You in the bushes

Too many ppl have the same story, from unlv to bg to mannie to juvie to producers to now wayne himself

It's like cosby, once everyone saying you raping em, you gotta start believing it had some truth to it.

Baby ain't paying anyone shit. In his mind you gotta sue to get a check and even then he still ain't paying. As long as there is no threat of jail or shit like that, he thinks he doing fine. Its ordinary business practice for him. Is funny how he says " I got Wayne under contract" cuz wayne can easily gather all these groups/ppl who ain't been paid and say baby don't honor his contracts so therefore they should be null and void, and that would actually win him the case, if it did indeed go to trial.

Will it get that far though? Probably unlikely since wayne gonna reneg on everything when baby let's him drive his new Bentley for a month

some of those niggas were paid in reality checks which i think mack mane could be getting a weekly reality check in the form of an asswhoopin i wasn't talking about money lol. I give the IC reports on the bushes i know better than to think he was getting actual money.

So Rich Homie nor Young Thug are not signed under Cash Money? Aight, they are smart (for now, as long as they don't sign a Cash Money contract)

But besides, Wayne, Drake & Nicki. Who else Baby have?

Man it look like after them 3 & if them 3 leave. It look like Cash Money will be looking like the Philadelphia 76ers record

^^^ this shit is fucked up SMMFH... told yall Baby aint letting Wayne go without a fight. Baby cut from that cloth where he would rather swallow blood than swallow his pride. Baby is going to learn the hard way SMMFH, yall gotta realize that w/o Wayne, Birdman HAS NOTHING. Like I said, Drake is cosigned to YM, Universal, Republic and OVO he can leave when he wants he set himself up from YM the last 2 years. Majority of Birdman's earnings are dependent on Wayne, Nicki and Drake, take them out the picture and who will replace that volume ? Young Thug ? Rich Homie Quan ? Gudda Gudda !?? LOLOLOLOLOL FOH.

To those who feel Wayne should stay, this will be the best decision for Wayne creatively both as a musician and businessman. It'll be exciting to see what Wayne builds after this. I could never see him being 45 screaming "YOUNG MONEY" forever. Let this also serve as karma, in the longrun you can't use shady business practices to hold real niggas down, eventually they get mature and start caring more for their family and well being longterm. If Baby kept niggas right and not in shady contracts he could have reached his dream of becoming a billionaire.

What did Young Thug do?

He said the name of his next album will be "The Carter 6". I think it was meant as a joke but according to reports he really is going to do it SMMFH. Dumb ass nigga should have held off before saying anything.

Bruh he serious as a heartattack. Thugga did say that shyt. That young faggot nigga seems hell bent on sending Wayne's already tarnished legacy (specifically speaking on Tha Carter series) deeper into oblivion.

Record label contracts for artists are usually by the number of albums, not time. Usually 6 albums. It's up to the label to release it whenever, with their justification normally plus the parent label (Universal) must open a budget to begin production and marketing.

Wayne dropped D'usse, Believe Me, Grindin', Start a Fire and nothing clicked yet FOR A WAYNE album. His shit is supposed to be big. Smaller artists would kill for his C5 singles success...but it's not close to good enough for Wayne. Carter 5 ain't dropping because it's not anticipated enough and CMR don't need a brick from the franchise. Add in that Nicki's shit ain't hot like years before and Nothing Was the Same flamed out pretty quick...Wayne is not a businessman at all. It makes sense why Carter 5 isn't coming out and I wouldn't put it out either.

But then again, I wouldn't hold that nigga. Let him go but keep getting paid off the subsequent albums he puts out until it satisfies the contract he's under now. That's the business. That's how it'll happen with Drake and Nicki too.

Cash Money got a good enough reputation, hate it or love it, in the industry - forget just urban music, that they'll have artists continue to sign there. Wayne isn't the face of Cash Money, Birdman, money and fame is. They'll be okay but the run at the very top is over.

NICKI MINAJ ON WAYNE/BABY BEEF: I am Young Money. I'm' Young Money. I ride with Wayne on whatever. "

Touching on the ongoing rumors of inner conflict at Cash Money, Nicki Minaj said, "they're going to resolve anything needs to be resolved."

"When you're at the top, there's only one place to aim at," she said of media attention on the perceived beef. "They gon' aim at us. We good. Love conquers all. I do know that, no matter what, we're a family. We're not always the best of friends and chummy chummy, but we're a family and we love each other underneath it all. I know that Wayne and Baby love each other. And I know they're going to resolve anything that needs to be resolved. I am Young Money. I'm' Young Money. I ride with Wayne on whatever. That's just how I am. But Baby has played such a huge role in my mental stability. I don't know if people know, Baby will call you and text you all day, just making you feel good. Making you feel inspired. One time he called me like, 'Yo Barbie,' he's like one of the only people who still calls me Barbie by the way, he's like, 'Yo Barbie, I'm seeing your posters all around, you doing your thing Barbie. I respect that.' This is Baby on my phone telling me he respects my business move.

"With Wayne I have such a different relationship with Wayne, such a cute relationship," she added. "I love both of them. I'm praying that everything resolves itself like it always does with family affairs. There just ain't no malicious nothing, ain't no hate."

a.k.a. Baby ain't pay me neither.

...I really dont GAF anyways... It's just hilarious how Birdman moving these nikkas around like pawns on a chessboard and Wayne has zero say-so in the matter... Whats next??...Birdman gonna' give Yung Thug keys to Wayne's house without him knowing??...lol...

Lol..smh

Man that dude aint going nowhere...I think someone touched on it..Baby is a cut-throat dude and that's how he has been..so that's in him..but he knows where the money comes...put it like this..and now I'm talking from a New Orleans nigga stance...These niggas are rich and paper chasers.....so they don't give a fuck about what they do to maintain that stream of money that's coming in (especially from endorsements)..so throw a fake spew together, to keep us talking about Wayne and the album..so be it (that shit don't bother them, these real street hood dudes from New Orleans Lol..this shit is so industry what they are doing smh it's sad that they even doing this)..but if the end results will pick up the numbers and get more endorsements...that's the key..keeping them endorsement checks coming hats off...so again..bottom line..it's a spew to keep the money stream running...lol..these niggas are smart and grimy at the same time..they aint beefing like that Lol..disagreements yea..but to this level...fuck no Lol.....

When I heard this shit..I was like come on..Baby has done more grimy shit to his own niggas in his camp than this and Wayne didn't leave and now he wants to leave because of his album not coming out LOL..yea ok..shit is a ploy...bruh it's so fake smh...I just laugh at how the media is eating this shit up..

These niggas aint stupid...it's a numbers game with these dudes..and they will do whatever it takes to keep them numbers up...

I can't even knock the plot though LOL...

I just now heard all of those songs & D'usse was the only one I liked that could've been a single. Believe Me was aight too but he could've kept Grindin & Start A Fire especially Start A Fire smh. That song is atrocious, I had to cut it off within the 40 second mark

Start A Fire was some shit Gudda Gudda would've passed on. That song could've been a filler track during Wayne's prime but not now. It was all forced but I did like D'usse but that would require a change in the presentation of Wayne...which would be smart. Only problem is, Jay Z is synonymous with D'usse SMH.

The best move is to not put out another Carter album and force himself to go in a different direction then finish off the contract with the Carter V.

That's the thing niggas act like there is some hidden songs on C5 that are instant gems. If his singles aren't hitting success wise at even a gold level (which is easy for wayne) how is an entire album going to do anything in 2 parts?
