Wayne wants off cash money records

Some of what being discussed in here seem like mere speculation but whatever the case Wayne made his plate right? So now nigga gotta eat the shyt.

It IS his fault if he bought into some bs baby was feeding him just on verbal and Wayne failed to check the receipts. How the hell u been in the game since 13 and at 32 your contracts still got u on some prostitute flange shyt? I can't feel sorry for this nigga. Unless of course baby put a gun to nigga head or made him sign them papers on muscle or some secret backmail shyt we prolly won't here about (speculation but possible esp considering the lil j prince situation).

Perception is reality. Rich Gang is a vanity project designed to give Cash Money life. Birdman prolly wishes he could sign Quan and Thug, but I'm sure their management is killing that. Rich Homie Quan has a bright future - he needs to get away from the Rich Gang shit. Young Thug...ehh...who checking for an album from him, really? He's Chief Keef...hot singles when you got 'em and mixtapes for your core. Call it a day.

i don't get cats saying wayne is doing this for publicity/sales. if anything this does nothing but prolong and delay tha carter 5 which still many people aren't checking for after people bought up c4 in high numbers only to be dissapointed.

Lets be honest wayne had mediocre to below average success with the C5 singles. And lets start a fire ruined any momentum Grindn had because that hook was sung turrible.

I think wayne sobered up and looked at his contract and checkbook and is mad as hell. To be honest it has nothing to do with creativity because lets be honest stunna lets these dudes wear dresses and skateboard. It has everything to do with money not being paid to wayne.

lol @ mediocre to average success like Believe Me aint hit #1 on the chart you dumb bitch I aint never reading your post again

Y'all folks rooting for Wayne but birdman is being a smart businesses man why would birdman wanna release or put a lot of money into a album that won't sell? That's the same thing abt tyga he want his album dropped but his last album flopped like a deflated basketball. Come son if y'all was birdman would u really put millions into making copies and pushing a album through commercials and music videos that u wouldnt get a big enough return from?.

This ain't no album by Gudda Gudda. Fam, this is Lil Wayne and Carter 5. The album itself is a franchise like a new pair of Jordans coming out.

It's gonna sell BIG, regardless of Birdman putting a lot of money into it or not.

I think it's obvious that Birdman knew Wayne has been trying to branch away from him, which is why he's trying hard to push Young Thug into Wayne's role. He keeps prolonging the release of Carter 5, but is steady dropping Rich Gang shit.

What u consider big sells might not be big sells considered by universal records standards remember that. Music sales are on the decline since people can download for free. Now a days a few hit singles don't mean shit the whole album has to be good from start to finish.

Ya but birdman also said there some things Wayne said on the album that might not go over well. We all remember when wayne said that emmit till line. Birdman probably wants wayne to change some shit and Wayne don't wanna do it so birdman won't drop the album and now Wayne in his feelings

Yeah i had reported a few months ago about waynes bars being questionable on c5

Carter 5 Pushed Back to Edit "Questionable" Content

STUNNA ISLAND Fl- Lil Waynes Carter 5 record was pushed back like a Stalley Album. Sources say its due to off the top lyrics that might offensive or suspect. Excerpts leaked Tuesday included lines like:

"I fist the pussy ray rice man i tackle whores/ Me and Thugga share the same love like Macklemore"

"My flow crack flow dope Coca Cola/Flo hard flow sicker than Ebola"

"Try to test Tunechi and you see youll go right down/ Im Darren Wilson and you niggas get Mic'd Brown"

"Wayne isn't lying when he says he doesn't write." said one source. "It comes unedited in the recording but this time were not going to take chances on public backlash." In the past lil wayne has made racist and sexist remarks on songs. From comments about "redbones" to making a mockery of the death of Emmit Till. But given the recent issues at YMCMB the camp wanted to make sure no backlash would come from the album.

Wayne has no chill lol really he gonna rap abt mike brown and ray rice at a time like this

Wayne never said that shit

shhh dont spoil this im reading these posts they think is real like

kanye-and-jay-z.jpg

Hell it sounds like something he would say doe lol

Mack Maine Confirms "Carter V" Is Coming First Quarter Of 2015

Lil Wayne recently expressed frustration with both Cash Money and his mentor, Birdman following the latest of many pushbacks of his upcoming studio album, Tha Carter V. Weezy seemed adamant to part ways with the label, but whether through his four album contract, or some reasoning with Birdman, the rapper announced earlier in the week that things were all good with him and Cash Money.

The president of the label, Mack Maine, weighed in on Wayne's comments in an interview with Miami's 99 Jamz, exlaining that C5 will be on its way soon enough. "He's touching up the album and about to start another special project for the people." said Mack. "I can't give a definitive date [for C5]. I can just say first quarter for sure... It's coming out. Don't get it twisted like it's not coming out."

Maine then touched on the apparent rift between Wayne and his father figure, Birdman. "I wouldn't pinpoint anyone personally... That's my uncle and my brother that you're talking about," he shared. "I got an optimistic, positive vibe about everything. It's just some business that's gon' need to be handled... Once that's handled we're going to keep moving. And it's getting handled as we speak... Everybody has their breaking point... I support Wayne 1,000 percent. I feel like this matter will get resolved. Period. If I'm still around it'll be resolved.

Wayne really going into the bushes...

No one is safe!

From tmz:

Birdman is NOT letting Lil Wayne out of his recording contract, no matter how much he bitches.

Sources close to Birdman tell us ... he's deeply offended by Weezy's public rants ... claiming Birdman has tried to derail his career by refusing to release his new album. Weezy didn't mince words, tweeting, "I want off this label and nothing to do with these people."

Birdman is unmoved and vows to duke it out in court if necessary, because a contract is a contract.

As for the delay in dropping the album, we're told Birdman says there's lots of administrative work that goes into releasing a record, and Weezy is just a rapper, not a businessman, so what does he know?

Birdman still intends to release the album, but on his time, not Weezy's.

Wayne has thrown down the gauntlet, calling himself a prisoner of the Cash Money music mogul.

Belee dat

so mack maine can't rap and he can't really do this who public relations/president role for shit. so why is this nigga on salary? (if hes actually getting paid)

Lololololol

Getting paid?

You got jokes...lololol

Birdman gives you a chain and lets you drive his cars and chill in his houses...But once you ask for even five bucks to buy a burger....

You in the bushes

Too many ppl have the same story, from unlv to bg to mannie to juvie to producers to now wayne himself

It's like cosby, once everyone saying you raping em, you gotta start believing it had some truth to it.

Baby ain't paying anyone shit. In his mind you gotta sue to get a check and even then he still ain't paying. As long as there is no threat of jail or shit like that, he thinks he doing fine. Its ordinary business practice for him. Is funny how he says " I got Wayne under contract" cuz wayne can easily gather all these groups/ppl who ain't been paid and say baby don't honor his contracts so therefore they should be null and void, and that would actually win him the case, if it did indeed go to trial.

Will it get that far though? Probably unlikely since wayne gonna reneg on everything when baby let's him drive his new Bentley for a month
