66-Year-Old Subway Rider Suffers Broken Rib in Brutal Robbery: NYPD

Police are searching for the subway rider who brutally beat a 66-year-old man as he robbed him on the train, authorities say.

The attacker approached the victim on a Manhattan-bound M train in Bushwick close to midnight Sunday, police said. He knocked the man to the floor, then kicked and punched him before taking his wallet and cellphone.

The suspect fled at the Myrtle-Wyckoff Avenue station.

The victim was taken to the hospital with cuts to his face and a broken rib. He was in stable condition.

Good kid for filming it, some 13 year olds would freeze up in that situation but this young man did the smart thing, I hope the guy that did it gets some very serious jail time that shit was just foul.

If he's truly only 13 I see not fault, but as a grown up, I couldn't help but see that old man as somebody grandpa, and I know if my grandpa was being robbed I'd want someone to help. I feel like I could basically have the right unleash all of my life's frustration on the robber with impunity, like he'd pay the price for anyone who had every bullied me or teacher that told me I wouldn't amount to shit.

Had a couple homies get smoked for trying to play hero in the past. Fuck that! Saw my neighbor WHOOP HIS GIRL ASS outside our townhouse one day.
