Video has emerged showing the shocking moment a Range Rover driver apparently drove through a crowd of motorbikes as it fled with its family inside for fear of being attacked.

According to police, the bikers started to damage the vehicle after the driver accidentally hit a motorcyclist.

Fearing for the safety of his wife and young child, aged under five, the SUV driver then sped off, hitting several bikers in its path.

An NYPD spokesman told the Mail Online the SUV driver, a man in his 30s, was taken to hospital and treated for lacerations to his face and body.

He said there were no other injuries reported from the incident.

Everybody in this situation was wrong, but as mad as those bikers make me, I'm not gonna just pancake they ass on the expressway. He could have killed that man on some bullshit road rage shit. That was a well deserved ass whooping

I have less of a problem with bikers doing shit like that than the ones that get out there driving like it's a video game. I get it, bikes are maneuverable. That doesn't mean your ass should be weaving in between cars at 100 mph.

i hate the "I put myself in a weaker position so if I disrespect you, you gotta take it in stride" mindset of people though. people need to stay in they lane (pun intended). even when i rode bikes i never did no retarded shit unless it was a straightaway with no traffic. I understand why the range driver would just run them the fuck over...although technically he's still in the "wrong" per say.
