I don't think pop fans want rip off Katy Perry/Lady Gaga tracks.. When they could go out buy the real thing.. I think that's what happen on her 2nd album.. Pop fans didn't want rip off pop.. Female hip hop did not really like the first album.. and wasn't feeling all the wack pop records or rachet watered down forced rap tracks on the 2nd album..
